Curate is proud to present A Gathering of Past Winners: UOB Painting of the Year, Malaysia from 22 August to 18 September 2015. The exhibition aims to introduce a new generation of Malaysian artists to a wider audience, presenting a premier selection of artworks from 12 past accolade recipients who have produced a promising and substantial body of work. The UOB Painting of the Year competition has served as a dedicated platform for artists to express contemporary and relevant issues in relation to new heights of developments in the region. The show highlights illustrious talents such as Aely Manaf, Cheong Tuck Wai, Lee Ah Lek, Minstrel Kuik, Mohd Sabri Idrus, Ng Swee Keat, Oon Bing Shen, Renny Cheng, Tang Yeok Khang, Tin Yuan Yuan, Wong Shirley and Yong Look Lam, showcasing Malaysia’s outstanding creative talent on an international platform. This award is a meaningful demonstration of UOB’s dedication and commitment to nurture emerging talent.
