Curate Henry Butcher is delighted to present A Raya Celebration of Generations in Art, replete with a fine selection of works by early pioneers, senior masters, eminent contemporary artists, including the young rising stars. Fully sourced from collectors, the exhibition features significant works by more than 50 artists including Khaw Sia, Ismail Mat Hussin, Tew Nai Tong, Tan Tong, Khalil Ibrahim, Awang Damit Ahmad, Yusof Ghani, Dato’ Tajuddin Ismail, Khoo Sui Hoe, Zulkifli Yusoff, Sylvia Lee Goh, Dr. Askandar Unglehrt, Jalaini Abu Hassan, Bayu Utomo Radjikin, Kow Leong Kiang, Chan Kok Hooi, Kelvin Chap, Jimmy Ong, Haslin Ismail, Azam Aris, Chong Ai Lei, Shafiq Nordin, Sabihis Pandi, Hisyamuddin Abdullah, Najib Bamadhaj, and many more. Influenced by social realities, these works contain remarkable insights into various communities and localised contexts, which will generate much excitement in the collecting community.
